Million Pillowcase Challenge

August 14th, September 12th, October 10th,
November 27th and December 16th
1 to 4 pm

     We will be making pillowcases for the 1 Million pillowcase challenge.
The shop goal is 500 pillowcases by the end of the challenge.
If you have already made some, bring them in to be counted.

The fabric requirements are:
• ¾ yard for the body of the case
• 1/3 yard for the trim

Don’t have fabric? We have kits for $5.

     This is a nice time to set aside for Mommy and Me. Spend the afternoon together with some quality time.
     Cost: Free instruction with the donation of a pillowcase. Learn to make pillowcases and donate some to charity.

T-Shirt Quilt **NEW**

August 15th and 22nd
1 to 4 pm, $42, includes Memory Quilts Book

Create an original memory quilt by using T-shirts that you have saved over the years from your kids or someone else that you love.
This would make a great Christmas present for someone!!!

Go back to some of the basic techniques that you may have forgotten or quilted by the seat of your pants…. This is a 3 part class:

Class 1
• accurate cutting
• 1/4 inch seams
• quarter square and quarter square
• flying geese
• paper piecing

Class 2
• squaring up
• matching seams
• making bias binding
• machine appliqué

Class 3
• borders
• miters
• binding

You will receive a discount of 15% on supplies purchased for class.
