“Mystery Quilting” Getaways at Purity Spring Resort, East Madison, New Hampshire
Escape to the White Mountains of New Hampshire for a fantastic quilting getaway! Event leaders Laurel Wilber and Madonna Terlizzi have created a unique approach to quilting; a pattern that reveals itself as you piece the quilt.
Whatever your age or skill level, you’ll have a great time! Once you sign up, you’ll receive a detailed supply list of what to bring but, the pattern is a mystery which reveals itself as it’s put together! Through the weekend, you’ll be guided step-by-step to a beautiful finished quilt.
Join us for our quilting retreat at Purity Spring Resort in East Madison, New Hampshire
A variety of workshops will be offered over the course of the weekend and a large supply of fabrics and supplies will be available for sale during the weekend.

- 6 meals beginning with Friday dinner
- 3 breaks, quilting program, spacious workspace
- All resort amenities including: indoor pool/hottub, fitness center, hiking trails, paddling, mountain biking, tennis and more!
- Additional a la carte activities are available: Private Reiki Treatment or Massage
Workshop Weekend: November 11th – 13th
You will need 3/4 yard of 6 non-directional fabrics. I suggest 3 darker, 3 light, or a progression of shades of a color, or 3 prints and 3 tone on tone that coordinate with the prints.
When you are purchasing your fabric you only need 3/4 yard, so if you buy more you will need to cut it down to 27″. (3/4 yd.)
Laurel will provide the pattern + instructions.
You will also need 2 1/8 yards for a border if you want one.
Full Week: May 6th – May 13th, 2012

For the November 11th – 13th Weekend, the package starts at just $231.58 per person – standard room, and $257.74 per person – luxury rooms. You would need to call the Purity Spring Reservations office at: (800)373-3754 to get an exact price and to make the reservation if you wanted.
