This quilt is 60 x 72 before borders.

Fabric Requirements:

4 1/2 yards background
Suggested : a variety of light tone on tone prints

Cut 23 strips 6 1/2” wide
Sub cut these into 360 segments 2 1/2” x 6 1/2”

1 yard of accent
Suggested dark / bright

Cut 13 strips 2 1/2”
Sub cut into 200 squares 2 1/2” by 2 1/2”

You should be able to cut several layers of segments at a time if you have a new blade in your cutter. Lay the strips out along the lines of your cutting mat and cut two to three strips at a time. I usually leave the strips folded in half so I can cut six or eight layers at a time.. Always cut from the open end to the fold, so you can use the folded piece if necessary.,/p>

Remember to bring all of your extra fabric with you. Bring neutral thread, a rotary cutter with a new blade, sewing machine needles.
