   Hi, I visited your store last Sunday, you showed me the elastic thread, you told me to thread the bobbin but, what thread do I use on the top of the machine? the package doesnot tell me. Also, we raved about the Disney quilt. Could you please tell me what stitch did she use? My sister would like to see the poppy material another customer purchased, it had a black background with red poppies. can we see it online? also, can we purchase some of it, if we called and paid by charge card?

   Lot’s of questions but I really liked your store I told my sister who also sew’s and she wants to take a trip up to see you after her surgery heals.

     Hi Cindy,

     Thanks for the interest in the wonderful quilt hanging in the store. Rita used the long and short stitch for most of the fill in design. There is of course outline stitch and a few french knots. There is also some satin stitch especially on her first few blocks.
     For the elastic thread you use regular thread on the top. After you sew the lines you will steam the sewed lines to shrink the gathering further.
     I have attached a picture of the fabric for your viewing and you may order it just by calling and saying it is the fabric from the picture sent to you. The price is $11.99 per yard.      We have a few stretch knits. You may want to come in and check out our selection if it isn’t too much hassle.
