It was my good fortune to drive a long distance to find the Fabric Stash, which I found advertised - quite by accident. I came here looking for a particular fabric for a young boy's quilt. What I found was a welcoming, friendly staff, a wealth of wonderful fabrics and notions and great prices. I will make the trek again.

I have been to many fabric stores in my day and this is by far one of the best I have been to. This is a good size store with many different great fabrics and findings. This however is not what makes it so great, it's the people that work there. Each time I go they are so helpful and can find exactly what I am looking for, even if I am not very specific. They are all so helpful and kind, a great place to shop and work on projects~!!

I visited your store for the first time in November 2008. I live in CT. and visited when I was in Sturbridge, MA. babysitting our grandchildren. What a delight your store is. I found the most beautiful blue material with glitter accents, your staff was very helpful in finding a coordinating fabric for the backing. I made a table runner for my sister and have enough material to make one for myself. I also purchased the 12 days of Christmas wall hanging. My daughter loved it! I will be back to see what's new for Spring.

I came into the store just a few days before Halloween hoping to find the material to make my sons costume(yes, I procrastinate!). I walked in and told the nice woman what I wanted to do. She gave me her opinion on the best material to use, found it, and then discussed everything else we needed to finish it. She had everything there. I was in and out in 10 minutes. It was wonderful! I will never go anywhere else!

This place is the real deal. They took art quilt samples off the wall and revealed the technique when I inquired about what method they had used! Open, honest, sharing, caring, etc. It was a buzz of activity last Saturday and was easy to find and very accommodating (ie-bathroom). Selection is large and well organized with lots of extra items that are must-haves. Definitely worth the road trip.

I was searching for this particular fabric that I had bought for a quilt a year ago. At the stores near me, I was unable to track it down. Although the blue style was in, they were not able to tell me if they had the red. I looked up the company online, Classic Cotton, and they told me that Fabric Stash had just ordered a bunch of the style I was looking for. When I called Fabric Stash, I told the woman what I was looking for and she immediately gave me to another woman who found the fabric. After I tried to describe it, and gave her the number, she spent five minutes searching for it, and finally found it. I was amazed by the fact that she searched for it. Most stores look through the computer and if they don't see it, that is the end of it. Thanks to Fabric Stash, I will be able to finish a quilt that I have been working on for over a year.

As I was driving to find a quilt store (tried Wrights but found closed, then Wal-Mart, all fabric gone) kept driving up Route 20 into Charlton and was just about to turn around when I saw Fabric Stash...Not only did I find a quilt store, it was their 11th anniversary AND a sale! Bonus!! I went in to find fabrics for a wedding quilt for our daughter...I was wandering around looking when someone asked if I would like some help...well, I had someone who was fantastic!! The store was very busy, but I never felt like I was holding her up as we pulled lots of bolts of fabric out...It was such a great experience!! I found great stuff!!! I went home, cut, sewed and tweaked a pattern I also got there and found I needed more fabric..OK, I really don't need more fabric, I needed more fabric for THAT quilt...well, they had Sunday hours and I went back, and proceeded to really look through the store and of course, build more fabric stash, and yes, got what I needed for that wedding quilt...Laurel was awesome! I will definitely be back for shopping, classes, the all day sew and with any luck, the retreats!! Definitely an A+ shopping experience and store!

This was my daughter's first year sewing at the Fabric Stash. What a great time she has had. Not only has Laurel taught her the techniques she needed to have success with her projects, I found that everyone is just open arms in helping each other. My daughter has encountered great memories as well as a great group of people who have taught her so much. My proudest moment thus far, had to be a gorgeous quilt that my daughter created for her little brother. I do believe without the support of the great staff , she might of not even dreamed she could accomplish this. Look forward to another great year! Thanks to everyone at the Fabric Stash.

The Fabric Stash is an experience. The owner is personable, friendly, knowledgeable and creative. I have put together a couple of quilts here; in addition to having two quilts sewn together on the industrial long-arm that is available for service. I would recommend The Fabric Stash to anyone who is interested in fabric or sewing of any kind to come here for a browse, for expert advice, fun, projects and quality products.

I have been looking for several months for fabrics to reupholster several pieces of furniture and drapery for several rooms. I looked at the books the upholsterer had available, but it was hard to pick from such small samples. I then put on a lot of miles and time trying to find fabric at various fabric shops and got myself very confused. On my way to Boston area to check out more fabric stores, I noticed the Fabric Stash sign for the first time and immediately turned around and discovered a very pleasant surprise in my backyard. I feel foolish that the store is only a few miles from my home and I did not know it. Fabric Stash is a lovely store very organized and a plentiful display of fabrics and helpful advice. I hope to return soon. The sales person was very pleasant and helpful even though she was busy and I can see why she was busy. It is a very nice store with prices that match the internet prices of similar fabric and I am so glad to have finally stumbled upon it. I will surely spread the word. Thank you Fabric Stash!

I have been looking for over 10 months for the right fabric to make curtains for a room in my new home and after my first trip to fabric stash I finally found the right fabric. The salesperson gave me a sample piece of the waverly fabric that I thought I liked and I was able to bring the sample home to see if the colors went in the room I was going to be decorating. It looks great and now I will return to purchase the fabric. After much research I see The Fabric Stash has the best price I have seen any where. Thank you Fabric Stash

When you first walk into the Fabric Stash, you can see wonderful creations lining the walls. Then your gaze drifts to the rows and rows and rows of gorgeous fabric. As you turn the corner, another pleasant surprise awaits - the yard and a half fabric cuts for $6 - and all of them are top rate, beautiful pieces. Bargains can be found on all walls - check it out for yourself - items that sell for 50 to 75% more at other stores are extremely reasonably priced at the Fabric Stash. And don't get me going on the wonderful, helpful people who work there. A true test of willpower is staying away for more than a few days at a time once you've visited the store. :-)

The Fabric Stash is great place for any quilter to visit. Their staff is friendly and helpful, the shop is stuffed with everything you could possibly want or need. I come to the area about every 4-6 months for a mom has to get out of the house day always with a list of what I need and always find everything plus a few more. I have also come a little late and she stayed so I could get what I needed! It is a basic quilt shop. The kind you go to because you can't get it anywhere else. I wandered into Fabric Stash with a desire to quilt but absolutely no quilting experience. The staff at Fabric Stash encouraged me to try a project that seemed much too complex for my experience, but they assured me it would be perfect for a beginner. I took advantage of the in store sewing lessons and I made an absolutely beautiful table runner and wall hanging from the same pattern. My friends and family could not believe I created such beautiful items with limited quilting experience. The staff is superb at both suggesting patterns, assisting in fabric selection, and tutoring on quilting technique. The atmosphere is friendly and warm, and I would highly recommend the store to anyone!!I have quilted for less than two months but am already hooked, and look forward to being a lifelong quilter with the Fabric Stash team giving me support and guidance along the way.Tell all your friends and family. This truly is a store not to be missed for the sewing/quilting enthusiast.
